flightoficarus (Metal Trenches) It takes a lot to surprise me, but "black metal with record scratching" was certainly not something I was expecting.

bmurator US "Scratching" Black Metal. Much like flightoficarus said, I would never have guessed that such a thing would work... Yet, somehow & most of the time - it does... :) It certainly gives a somewhat schizophrenic feel to the compositions which fits right in with the rest of BM in many ways! Definitely an idea worth exploring further & I look forward to it! It scratches parts that every day BM cannot... :) Recommended!

about

Olde Scratch has been invoked as an exploration of the occult lyrical and visual themes often utilized in the black metal genre.

Viewed through the meta text of the satanic panic of the 1980's, in which a frenzied conspiracy, theorized that subliminal, demonic messaging was being embedded into songs via back-masking technology on vinyl records.

Hence, a diabolical turntable, ritually lacerates over a scorchingly distorted bass synthesizer, growling like some infernal engine spewing fire and brimstone. All the while, sonorous percussion, echoes from the very depths of the abyss.
